How tragic was this? I know a lot of people didn't like Anna Nicole, and yes, she did many things that were questionable, but I absolutely loved this woman. She was my hero for many years. She was one of the most beautiful women, at her heaviest, and her thinnest. I know she did a lot of things wrong, but you know, who hasn't? She made me laugh, and feel good about my body image, regardless of what size I was.
She's been compared to Marilyn Monroe for years, and it seems, she's tragically ended up the same way-- dead way too soon. She lost her only son six months ago, and now she's left behind a six month old daughter. My heart is just broken for those she left behind. May she rest in peace.

This is ladiebug lane i cant rememeber my username...lol!
anyway wow! I didnt even hear about it! Now I am going to go google her!
yeah i wasn't really a fan but none the less it is tragic...it will be interesting to see what happened...
Marilyn Monroe rocks!!
I just found out about this, and am in shock. Truthfully, I was not a fan, but this woman had to deal with so much trajedy in her life...my first thought was of her new daughter. How terribly sad.
I cant say I am suprised.
Ive blogged about ANS before.
I have to give the woman credit, she came from literally NOTHING and made herself into a star/household name.
I may have not liked some of the things she has done but Ive always seen her as someone like me. She fought personal demons and addictions, every time she was knocked down, she has pulled herself back up onto her own 2 feet, laughed about her misfortune/mistake and then pushed forward.
RIP Anna
it is Tragic that is about the only word that does justice here, i often made jokes and poked fun at her but at the same time i was rooting for her to pull it all together.....sad that she never will
What a shock, huh? Terribly sad.
I actually was working at Lane Bryant when she was the spokesmodel. She did all kinds of crazy things but I really think she made a lot of people take notice of the plus-size girl. She really took it all in stride.
Of course I think she was totally crazy, but it's still so tragic, with all the family drama. I keep wondering what will happen to her baby girl.
It's awful. I still think her husband had something to do with her son's death and now hers. We will soon see though.
I just hope she can rest where ever she is, and I hope her baby ends up in the right hands.
What a total surprise....
and a tragic loss for family.
I couldn't believe this either. But, she always showed us her 'human side' which we all could relate to. She did show us 'all of her' at her heaviest, and still had the confidence as she got very thin. Between her late husband passing (which I do believe she loved), her son's passing (no one's supposed to bury their child), and all the law suits and battles with her new born finally got to her I think. My question is, why was she alone at the hotel anyway? Isn't she supposed to be looked after?
A replica of Marylin Monroe. Totally.
I loved the fact that she didn't mind being in the public's eye when she was her heaviest. I worked @ Lane Bryant and she was a spokes model.....she was beautiful. I feel so bad for her family.
gah! Im tired of people bashing ANS. She didnt die from drugs, she did not commit suicide.
Did anyone ever think maybe she died from a broken heart?
