Things Are SLOWLY... Getting Better

It's tuesday, and I'm exausted. Sunday, I had wonderful day. We had our annual church picnic at the Lake. I always look foward to that. The first sunday in June, we always have our church service at Watauga Point, with a picnic to follow. All four of the local Episcopal churchs attend. We had 104 people this sunday! That was a true blessing for sure! After the picnic, all of the kids went down to the lake to swim. I most definitely regret not bringing my bathing suit! I went "wading", but that's as far as I was able to get in (although my "chitlin's" made sure to get me nice and wet by splashing as much water on me as they could while dying laughing! I'm such a great teacher *LOL*). I was *supposed* to work to work from 4pm to midnight, but ended up working graveyard, so I could've gone swimming!

Work is going good. Graveyard is really slow, but that's ok. After doing my "work", I had a lot of downtime. Thank goodness for tv and a computer! It makes the time go by so much faster!

I'm looking forward to my "beach" trip in a few weeks. I'm going to Myrtle Beach, SC with my aunt on the 19th. I haven't been to the beach in nearly 3 years. I'm a white as a sheet, so unfortunately, I'll probably get nice and toasty at the beach *L*.

Not much more new to report right now. Of course- I have pics to share. Thanks to ALL who have been supporting me with thoughts and prayers. It truly means a lot, I'm so thankful to all of you! *hugs*
